Sour on the outside, sweet in the centre and gains throughout. These gummies are a must have treat in the pantry!
Ingredients
- 85g NZProtein Jelly Mix
- 1 tbsp gelatine
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/4 tsp citric acid (optional but it’s what makes the gummies sour)
Directions
- Mix gelatine and our jelly mix in boiling water until fully dissolved. Sometimes this will take a bit of time so doing it a pan over a low heat may help speed up the process.
- Using a mold of your choice, (we chose worms) fill the mold with the gummy mixture. We found using a syringe for this process was the easiest.
- Place in fridge for about 10-15 minutes to set.
- Remove from molds.
- Optional (and recommended) final step: Place gummies in a bowl, sprinkle with citric acid, stir through to make sure all the gummies get sour.
