These energy balls are perfect for a quick snack or a pre/post-workout boost. Feel free to customise the recipe by adding your favourite mix-ins like chocolate chips, chia seeds, or spices like cinnamon or nutmeg.

  • 1/4 cup honey or maple flavour low cal sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Additional toppings like shredded coconut or cocoa powder (optional)

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the beef protein powder, almond butter, honey or maple low cal sauce, chopped nuts, dried fruit, vanilla extract, and salt (if using). Mix until well combined and the mixture starts to stick together.
  2. If the mixture seems too dry, you can add a bit more almond butter or low cal sauce to help bind it together.
  3. Once the mixture is well combined, take small portions and roll them into balls using your hands.
  4. If desired, roll the energy balls in shredded coconut or cocoa powder for extra flavour.
  5. Place the energy balls on a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Once chilled, your beef protein energy balls are ready to enjoy! Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
